Reflecting the spatial dynamics of miniatures, the architectural figures emerge as quasi-forms with blurred limites. They depict the colors existing in Suhrawerdi's intermediary Realm of Images, connecting terrestrial and heavenly worlds. They represent the Manichaean ideal: the liberation of particles of light from the world of matter.
In opposition with the Florentine geometrical eye, the architectural space is defined through colors that emphasize the magical complexity and variation in the universe, as well as the creative force of man's imagination.
The Constantinopolitan Eye designed an alchemical transmutation through supernatural colors for the continuous reinvention of the talismanic urban space at the Earth's navel, the cosmic capital, the divine city of Constantine.
In the digitized image of the miniature, 2.5 million pixels simulate the colors of the pigments which are used in the miniature. Their colors are analyzed with algorithms to identify the dominant tones. The 12 talismanic towers of Constantinople are represented as clusters of particles. Each second, the mineral pictorial paste pops into millions of particles with constantly changing colors.
